Football
A fourth-quarter surge sent Brevard over the Panthers on Saturday 24-10. Quarterback Shedrick Lindsey threw for 243 yards and a touchdown on a season-high 42 attempts.
Golf
The Panthers had a team score of 915 over the par 71 Raven Golf Club course during last week’s Golfweek DII Fall Invitational. Freshmen Jeremy Edmunds and Martin Prlender, along with sophomore Luke Jarvis, all had final round scores of 79 to lead LC.
Men’s Soccer
LC (10-4-2) defeated Warren Wilson 6-0 on Sunday to complete regular-season play. Unbeaten in conference play, the team has clinched the Collegiate Conference of the South regular season title, and is now preparing for championship play.
Women’s Soccer
The Panthers (8-5-2) defeated Wesleyan on Wednesday night 3-1, before losing their regular-season finale to Maryville 4-0 on Saturday. With a 4-3-1 record in conference play, the team is the fifth seed going into the CCS championship and will face Covenant away on Saturday in the quarterfinals.
Volleyball
LaGrange lost a non-conference match to Point 3-1 on Thursday in Richer Gym. Jharia Harris had a team-high nine kills and added 10 digs. On Saturday, Covenant and Piedmont downed the Panthers in a tri-match in Demorest, Georgia. The losses left LC 3-10 in conference play.
